A WARM WELCOME
As you step into the homestead, you'll be greeted in true country style. A fully equipped, shared kitchen is waiting, where guests can prepare their own meals, from tea and toast to a family feast. The kitchen seamlessly flows into the warm, open-plan living area with farmhouse charm, featuring a comfortable lounge area with a television, a dining table that seats eight, a wood fire for chilly nights and a reverse-cycle air conditioner for year-round comfort.
THE BEDROOMS
The homestead features three neat and comfortable bedrooms, each with its own private ensuite and lockable door.
Master Bedroom (Downstairs)
This spacious room opens onto the enclosed veranda through French doors, offering stunning views of the Stirling Range and surrounding gardens, and features casual seating, a large ensuite and a reverse cycle air conditioner.
Double Loft Room (Upstairs)
To the left of the upstairs landing, this cosy room features a loft-style ceiling, creating an intimate feel. A small ensuite, casual seating a television and comfortable bed await.
Twin Loft Room (Upstairs)
Situated to the right, this room mirrors the design of the Double Loft Room, with its own sitting area, ensuite and two single beds.
Office/desk space
is also available upstairs, providing a quiet corner for work or reading.
THE CELLAR AND VERANDAH
The Homestead’s enclosed veranda and cellar showcase Mondurup Escape’s local produce. Guests can browse a selection of farm-grown goods, including wines available for purchase by appointment and find out all about what is involved.
From here, step onto the beautiful deck area and take in breathtaking views of the Stirling Range and vineyard. With ample seating, it’s the perfect spot to unwind with a cuppa, glass of wine or a good book.
EXPLORING MONDURUP ESCAPE
Outside, guests are encouraged to explore the grounds. Wander through the vineyard and along the creek, admire the gardens and beautiful trees or relax on the lawns. Keep an eye out for native birds and local wildlife and don’t forget to say hello to the friendly pet sheep, always ready for a scratch.
GETTING HERE & CHECKING IN
When driving along Red Gum Pass Road look out for the Mondurup Escape sign. The gravel driveway leads you over a creek crossing (suitable for all vehicles). Follow the driveway as it winds up the hill in front of the homestead, with guest parking located to the south of the house.
All necessary information will be emailed to you a day before your arrival, ensuring you easy access and a stay at Mondurup Escape that is as stress free and enjoyable as possible.
